Interesting note two, Mattycat never sent a successful list, other than the role reveal. Twinkle was the spokeswolf.

Mattycat was the last werewolf, by keeping him alive, an innocent died. If you would have revealed that he was werewolf the day after he took you off his list (if you were even on there), he would have been long gone and we would havehad an extra innocent alive and would have had an extra innocent at the end at well, possibly changing the game. x_x Werewolves have no motive to kill an angel, especially when they're outnumbered and they REALLY need the mafia to die. He wouldn't have killed you just because he knew your role in the first place.

As stated above, you killed mattycat before he sent in a successful list. Thus the statement 'An innocent died because we kept mattycat' is void. True, I thought mattycat was the spokes, but he didn't kill anyone - blame Twinkle for that. Besides, I was the one who asked LAQ to pass on to the Wolf dreamer that I had suspicion on Jamie and Twinkle. I killed two wolves and spared one. One innocent wouldn't change the game, and as stated before, there wouldn't be an extra innocent because mattycat didn't send in any succesful lists. I make strong alliances and stick to them. I'm one of the more honest players and will not backstab alliances I make on Day 1 - Mattycat and Robert. Besides, remember when you died, you were the wolf protector. The mafia killed you. When I was a wolf, and my team died out, I decided I would root for mafia and gave XIL and Jamie all the info I knew. That's why I was nervous - If a baddie teams dies, they'll root for another baddie team. Mattycat could have passed on info of me being the angel to the mafia, and the mafia would care. That's why what I did didn't affect the game - if anything I helped the innocents by being suspicious of Twinkle and Jamie.

See? I didn't change the outcome of the game. Maybe I helped the innocents a little, but other than that I didn't change the outcome of the game for the negative.

Edit:

I saw how irritated everybody was with Bangel in the last game. The biggest difference between that and this is that I was keeping Mattycat in hopes of helping the innocents, Bangel was in an alliance with baddies so she could make it to the end. I put a lot and lot of thought into this before I put my plan into action, but I decided it would be best for the innocents. If you feel like I affected the outcome negatively, I'm sorry. But isn't that what the game is about? Trying to keep your team to the end; some methods work and others don't. But blaming me for our loss is a little ridiculous. I mean, its like blaming LAQ for our loss, I mean she shot a dreamer! Come on! She shot Chipper because she thought it would be helpful to the innocents, so you can't blame her for this. What about Divine? I mean, he did ressurect someone who didn't find any mafia! He did what he thought would be helpful to the innocents. Is it Chippers fault we lost? No! Because she dreamt of who she thought would not be helpful to the innocents. My list goes on and on, but my point is that I do find it a little unfair that your blaming the loss of the innocents on me.

Scottie, when are you going to host another WW game? It seems like it's been forever since you hosted a game here and it just doesn't seem the same without you.

My best game yet was the Simpsons one as I loved the role. WIS' came second I think and Syrril's game came third.

So keep your cool themed games comin Scotty!

Well... I did just do one before this one.
And unfortunately I've got 2 weeks worth of midterms to worry about. So trying to do a game and study is just out of the question. (check my Livejournal if you're curious-- it's public so no need to have an account)

After this upcoming game however, I'll try to get one in. All depends on my workload.

midterms are icky. I do remember you doing the simpsons one but I didn't participate because i hate the simpsons so that might be why it seems like forever since you hosted. I hope you get one in soon because my WW skills are getting rusty. It was fun smurf people off in my first game.

Haha, well I missed the ending.

Interesting how things played out. I have to say, I liked the locked roles, it was a very nice twist to liven things up. MJ, you had a really nice stratigy, too bad it didn't turn out as planned. :P

Great game everyone. :)

Wow, did DM and Chipper use any logic whatsoever? No offence, but if I pointed out a Mafia member which was the only bad team LEFT, I would assume you knew that I wouldn't be bad. I mean, it's common sense.

Tue Feb 21, 2006 7:06 am

So, does this mean there'll be another game soon? I can't wait to play through a whole one. I still can't believe the Mafia won, though :(.

I was wondering if a werewolf was role revealed, can his teammates say 'John is a werewolf'? Or would it count as naming your teammates?

Well, in past games, evil team members have voted for their fellow team members in past games. It's not revealing a team member unless you START a bangwagon, not follow one, I think.

Tue Feb 21, 2006 2:50 pm

I think the rule goes along the lines of revealing the member as evil, rather than following a bandwagon.

In other news, Kidwaiy dreamt of Jade using another power.

2. Is that a gun? Maybe! Twice during the game, you may forsee all evil, with a 25% margin of error. If you land in this 25%, all results will come back as the person being evil regardless of if they are. Inform me if you wish to use this while sending a list.

And, Jade came back within the margin. :P Clearing things up.

Well... if role revealed there wouldn't really be any need for that...

but the intent of the rule is if lets say a guy on your team REALLY didn't want to be evil. And was going to help the innocents. Or perhaps it was someone who was converted, and dont want to be evil. They can't just say "Jack, John, James, Jibby are my werewolf teammates"

Now, if some Werewolf were to randomly say one day "John is a werewolf!" and they were on the same team. that's perfectly fine.

Tue Feb 21, 2006 7:24 pm

I actually think I tried that strategy once, or at least considered it. Get the rest of the team to toss one of the wolves out, claiming to be people that can tell if someone is a werewolf, then relax in the knowledge that you've been 'cleared' as an innocent.

OK, OK. Ammer was good. <_<
But I told you guys I was good. Was I right, Kuge?
