Special drinks for the occasion

'Tis non-alcoholic (but it does contain soda)
Recipe:
Ocean Water
from The Rollins House

Ingredients
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon coconut extract
3 drops blue food coloring
2 (12 ounce) cans lemon-lime soda

Instructions
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine water and sugar. Heat in microwave for about 1 minute. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the sugar mixture into a pitcher. Add coconut extract, food coloring, and soda. Stir to combine. Enjoy over ice.

Garnish with Swedish Fish

Oooh, all those treats look delicious! And nice and beachy. Thanks for the few seconds of imaginary getaway from our dreary downpour.

I had chocolate cake and brownies last night (after taking a Zyrtec, which so far seems to have staved off an allergic reaction to them). They tasted soooo good after not eating chocolate for the past month. Worth it even if my eczema does flare...
