Lab Map Disappearance: Still a danger?

I've had the lab map for 2 years now and I've always used the bookmark I have of it... I don't even know how to do it the long way now!

Thank you! I know several people who mysteriously got the lab ray without completeling the map. And I lost my first one. But a friend helped me get it back ^_^

I heard a rumor that typing the URL may have something to do with why it disapears. I don't know if that's true or not. But since getting the ray back I always follow links to get there and never ever type the url out.

I was told something to that effect to
That the map was only dissapearing for people who had directly linked to it and not for people who clicked through the site to get it. After i lost my first one i've been careful not to use direct links -- but i have no idea if there's any truth to it.

I've been using the lab for more than two years, and I almost always use a direct link. I've never had a problem.

Yeah, I've always just typed in the link and I've never had a problem.

i've been using the lab for 3 days so i can't really have much input into this, but i don't think i'll link anymore... :S

I never direct link, I never really though about it to be honest. I have never had probalms with disapearing lab map, but I would be very angry if it suddenly disapeared.
