Christopher, I believe what you were reading was an interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita. That is, not just a translation of the exact words, but the author is adding his own words.

Christopher, I believe what you were reading was an interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita. That is, not just a translation of the exact words, but the author is adding his own words.
