I'm kicking myself for starting this one, because I said I'd go to bed after it...figures, it's taking me the longest to solve.
I can't get back to them, or I would! The display screen simply does not show up anymore - just what I put in spoilers in the last post. The two I did post were the two Military Comms (7-variables) that I actually completed.
Ah well, not much I can do now. Good luck to everyone still working on 'em tonight! I'll see y'all in the morning!

I'm still working on my 1st mods, but a thought occurred to me.
Notice the IDs at the top? Looks to me like they're in hexadecimal (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexadecimal) - could be important later on.
(Sorry if someone's posted this before)

That pet page helped with my first 3 modifier but I cannot get any of the codes to match now.

Pickles, I don't have your message.
I'm still stuck on my first 3-modifier *cries* No combo seems to be working!

Does anyone know if I can exit the puzzle & come back to it later without having to start over? I just started the 3 modifiers and need a long break.

Yeah, you can. It saves your progress.

I was able to finish the weather (1 mod) and Civilian (2mods), but my three modifier puzzles have 8 or 10 characters, not 6 or 7 like I see from previous posters, so I suspect the charmander key won't work for me.

from what little I have found out in the .swf file, those IDs are just randomly generated MD5 hashes - so probably mean nothing.

Same here...all of mine have 8 or 10 also

edit: perhaps it's the number of different symbols not the number of symbols total
edit again: that can't be right either since then one of mine only has 4 different symbols (but 8 total)

The "C" is a Lu Codestone.

The "T" (mushroom or paintbrush) is a Main Codestone.

The "X" is a Mau Codestone.

The "O" or "circle" one is an Orn Codestone.

The "V" with a dot is a Tai-Kai Codestone.

The "8" or "B" is a Vo Codestone.

The "Z" or "%" is a Zei Codestone.

You probably accidentally found the right email, which means you might have been the first one to complete the puzzle!

my three code puzzles have also contained the Har Codestone
but only as a Result, not as a key or target

Has anyone seen the eo

or bri

codestone symbols?

Can someone please clearly explain how to use Charmander's petpage to help solve these?
Thanks

Just a note for those who have tried every combination but remained "locked out" on certain puzzles: I've noticed that occasionally I'll try a modifier and get total gibberish instead of the answer I should get. These gibberish answers are where the Har symbol shows up, and will often contain spaces. Most importantly, these gibberish answers WILL override correct combinations. So when you get these answers, be sure to RESUBMIT the modifier.
Here's an example of a gibberish answer:
