Highlighting searchwords

In the subhallow theme, highlighting color is eye-watering and makes the text very hard to read:

Any chance of changing the color for hallowers?

Also, I'm getting the -1 unread messages error up top. I assume there's a quick fix to this but can't find it.

Receiving another PM and reading it did the trick.
