No, it's not a contest. Just the fact that you submit it gives you 1000 points. Of course, quality is good and can get your bonus points (another 1000 which makes it 2000).While (opposite of quality) can - points from your + 1000.

Harry becomes an Auror at the Ministry of Magic, and is later appointed head of the department. He keeps Sirius's motorcycle, which Arthur Weasley repaired for him, but can no longer speak Parseltongue after the destruction of Voldemort's soul fragment inside him. Ginny Weasley plays for the Holyhead Harpies Quidditch team for a time, then becomes the lead Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.

Ron works for a time with George at his store, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and later joins Harry as an Auror. Hermione finds her parents in Australia and removes the memory modification charm she put on them. She initially works for the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, greatly improving life for house-elves and their ilk. She later moves to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and assists in eradicating oppressive, pro-pureblood laws.

Rowling also explained the fates of several secondary characters. George Weasley runs his successful joke shop, initially helped by Ron. George names his first child Fred, after his late twin brother. Luna Lovegood searches the world for odd and unique creatures. She eventually marries Rolf, a grandson of the famed naturalist, Newt Scamander. Her father's publication, The Quibbler, has returned to its usual condition of "advanced lunacy" and is appreciated for its unintentional humour. Firenze is welcomed back into his herd, who acknowledge that his pro-human leanings were not shameful, but honourable. Dolores Umbridge is arrested, interrogated, and imprisoned for crimes against Muggle-borns.

There has been a transformation in the wider wizarding world. Kingsley Shacklebolt becomes the Minister for Magic, with Percy Weasley working under him as a high official. As one of the reforms introduced by Shacklebolt, Azkaban no longer uses Dementors. Consequently, the world is now a "much sunnier place". Harry, Ron and Hermione also help revamp the Ministry in their respective capacities. At Hogwarts, Slytherin House has become more diluted and is no longer the pureblood bastion it once was. Nevertheless, its dark reputation lingers. Voldemort's jinx on the Defence Against the Dark Arts (DADA) position was broken with his death, and there is a permanent DADA teacher. A portrait of Snape, who briefly served as Hogwarts Headmaster following Dumbledore's death, does not appear in the headmaster's office as he abandoned his post. Harry intends to lobby for the addition of Snape's portrait, and reveals to all Snape's true allegiance.

Ooooh. This could be fun! In spoilers, as it would ruin the book's ending.

After the train pulled out of sight, parents started to leave. Harry and Ginny headed straight back through the wall to the main station, taking their daughter Lily with them, who was still looking back at the train's path with longing.
Ron turned to Hermoine and shrugged. "Well, at least Rosie is on her way," he commented, looking down to Hugo, who impatiently stamped his foot, like Lily, wanting to have been on that train. "I'm sure she'll be fine."
Malfoy overheard from where he was standing. "I hope your kids got her brains," he remarked, nodding at Hermoine. "Otherwise, they'll never make it through their OWLs."
Ron started to turn red, and Hermoine put her hand on his arm. "I heard a fart, Ron. Nothing more. Hugo. Go catch up with Lily, please."
"But Mom..."
"Now." Came the firm answer. The boy ran straight back through the wall.
"There's nothing more annoying than a Weasley," came the droll from Malfoy's mouth.
Hermoine glared at him. "Be careful who you say that to, Malfoy."
"Oh, having the wife defend you now, are we?" came the retort, a smug look on his face.
Wands came out immediately, and with lightening speed, Ron shouted " Expelliarmus!"
At nearly the same time, Hermoine cried out. "Aguamenti!"
As Malfoy's wand went flying, a rush of water spouted from Hermoine's wand and drenched Malfoy. Something that looked like a wand went flying with the water in his direction.
Malfoy cursed, and grabbed the wand laying in the puddle around him. Dripping wet and seething, he pointed his wand at Ron. Before he could say another word, Ron pointed his wand at him and cried "Langlock!".
Malfoy tried to speak, but couldn't get his tongue to move from the top of his mouth.
"Perhaps I'm not quite a stupid as you've always thought I was," Ron commented. "Don't mess with Aurors."
Frustrated, Malfoy stormed off to have someone else release him from the spell, leaving a trail of water behind him.
Ron grinned at Hermoine. "Good one," she remarked, looking to where he'd been.
"Maybe we should send him a few presents from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes...I was thinking maybe...some U-No-Poo. Or some Skiving Snackboxes...disguised of course..." Ron muttered.
"Nah. I think he'll be having enough fun with the Trick Wand he grabbed..." Hermoine grinned mischievously.
Ron raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, Hugo had brought one of the trick wands along, and I caught him playing with it earlier, and took it away from him. When I drenched him, I threw it in that direction, and he picked it up by mistake. It'll be at least another 15 minutes before he realizes that it wasn't his..."
Ron looked at her. "I'm rubbing off on you, you know..."
They both laughed, and hurried to catch up with Harry, Ginny, Lily and Hugo.

At the pitstop, the host Light was waiting for the other teams to arrive with CWisgood and Dyl.. At around 2, Pickles and Penguin came out!

"Pickles, Penguin. You are team number 2!" the host said.

"Yields don't stop us!" Pickles said joyfully and she gave the host a paper entitled "The Harry Potter Shortstory".

At the pitstop, the host Light was waiting for the other teams to arrive with the other teams. At 3:47, Miyu and Susanhimmo appeared.

"Susanhimmo, Miyu. You are team number 3!" the host said.

Disapointed that they didn't come first, they were. Though, nevertheless they were glad with what they achieved.
