I'm just wondering if I should continue Labbing my pet.

I started off at level 40/Def at 80 with strength at 70 something. I then started labbing in hopes of getting my strength to 80.
A couple of months later...
Level: 26
Defence: 58
Strength: 77
HP: 128

So should I keep trying or stop ...

This is just a summary of the past couple months since I started labbing again:
-11 levels
-17 DEF
+4 STR
-20 Move

Which is kind of ridiculous.

It's exactly like the Brother Bear games, but on a larger scale. And you get 1000-5x, where x is the number of moves you make. Only problem is that it sometimes gives you unsolvable ones.

I agree with most of what Alex said. (Not sure about the usefulness of Innate Magic Resistance).

For Rohane, I would put save some points for Battle Taunt, as it can help to draw fire off of Velm. (Terask II killed Velm in one of his consecutive hit frenzies once, it made me sad).
