I dont think a dialup only grave would help, because i think if you wait a certain amount of time, no matter what speed the other peoples computers are, you get kicked

I wish it kept track of how many graves you've dug up.

It couldn't do that, because sometimes you join in the middle of digging a grave, so the count wouldn't be accurate.

what if they kept track of how many times you pressed 'dig'?

Or just how many times you'd dug, instead of out-of-turn ...
