Irwin laughed as he saw a girl shout at the boy who had spilt salt over his food. "Oh well," he thought, "I like salty food." Finishing his meal as best as he could, he waved goodbye as Marty left, and prepared for his next course--Transfiguration. He smiled, as he rather liked transfiguring objects. It was his second favourite course, after Ancient Runes. He stood up and headed back to the painting of the Fat Lady.

May looked up from the page she was reading (information about the Patronus Charm) to see a book hovering in front of her. She looked around to see Meiou floating the book down to her. She picked it up to look at it. 'Paths of a Charmer'... Hmm, I've never heard of this book... It looks very interesting though... She looked back, and saw him packing his bags.

May disentangled herself from the bag sitting on her lap, and quickly walked over to where he was. "Thank you for the book. It looks really great!" She smiled at him, and walked back to her seat.

He smiled to her. "Your welcome. Im sure youll enjoy it. Its not an easy book to come by." He finished putting his things away before starting off towards the Defense against the Dark Arts room. He always thought that teacher was abit strange.

((Meiou, Gryffindor and Slytherin 6th years have Potions with Slughorn. Not Ravenclaws Sorry. It was posted a while back.))
Grace wolfed down the rest of her food. She needed to get her book for potions.

Slughorn was a nice teacher. She liked him. Well... anyone was better than Snape...

"You finished Marty? We could go get our books together." She said to him.
Though annoying, Marty was her cousin, her only family left that she knew of, and she had to make up with him.

Anka had finished already and was almost at the Slytherin Common Room. This was his haven, the only place he could be himself. The other students were not good enough to see Anka for the great Pure-Blood that he was.

He got to the common room door.
"Blood Red." he said Simply, looking bored. His scowl disapeared and he smirked. His face suddenly became quite handsome.

He walked through the almost empty room to his dorm and picked up his Advanced Potions Book. With everything in check, he set off for the Potions classroom, resenting the fact the Snape would no longer be giving them a easy time there.

He shruged, there was always Defence against the Dark Arts.

Marie shut her book suddenly, and waved at her Ravenclaw friends, and stood. She walked out of the Great Hall, wandering slightly. She looked around, and decided to go to the library. Feeling a book-wormy, she stopped along the way to talk to the many she knew before arriving at the library.

[Who's the DADA teacher? :P]

Marty paused at the door, and nodded at his cousin. "Sure," he said, and left, hoping Grace was following him. He reached the portrait of the Fat Lady and found Irwin there already. "Hi," he said, smiling at the fifth year. He looked at the Fat Lady, who was grumbling about them standing around, and said, "Courage."

The Fat Lady swung forward and Marty walked in. A boy told him to check the board, and Marty dismissed him and said he would later. As he walked past it, Marty looked over at it and saw a Notice, Quidditch Trials, Saturday.

Marty sighed and wondered who would come along. He ran up the steps to the boy's dormitories, and grabbed his Potions book. He dumped some of his books (like Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts) on the bed, and put the Potions book in his back. He ran back down the stairs to meet Grace.

[I have the idea that some of the already Gryffindor players (from your bios) could try out (and be accepted, of course), and some could already be in the team, maybe two or three. Just an idea, it could be fun. o_O]

||DADA Teahcer: *pokes first post* Mine! All mine!

Quidditch tryouts: Teh fun! Yes, if anyone wants to feel free. I shall.

Phwee. After the gryffindor/slytherin class, 'tis ravenpaw and hufflepuff. All of us need to have some interaction with sluggy pretty soon, to get things. *shifty eyes* moving... :P ||

((I thought Snape would be the DADA teacher... -.-))
Grace had followed Marty to the Gryffindor common room and ran up to her dorm to collect her books.
'Free period after this.' She reminded herself as she ran back down the stairs.

She emerged back in the common room to find Marty already there. She pouted.
"How do you always beat me?" She asked him breaking into a smile and opening the portait to get out.

Anka was first to the potions classroom, as always. He waited for his class to Arrive and Slughorn.

He thought about was he could do to the Blacks and thier fellow gryffindors. Maybe he'd use the Jelly legs curse on one...

Marty grinned and shrugged. Grace was a good friend, he didn't just like her because she was his cousin. It was part that, but they were like brother and sister as they had been raised together. He stepped out of the portrait hole and down to the dungeon, where Potions was held. Marty groaned as he found Anka there, a pure blood who held a grudge against Marty and his cousin because a) Marty was a half blood and b) he perceived the two as blood traitors.

((I'm a little confused... what class do the year 5's go to?))

Wed Jul 27, 2005 3:31 am

((Anything except DADA and Potions Shadow. DADA=6th year Ravenclaws an Potions=6th year Gryffindors + Slytherins. I have Anubis' permission to Godmod slightly))
Grace tripped slightly and dropped her wand and bag out of which her ink bottles and parchment spilled out.
"Oh no... Marty You go ahead, I'll be two secs." she told him.
Marty nodded and walked down to the dungeons.

Anka was now waiting with a few other Slytherins and Gryffindors when Marty entered. Anka scowled at him, even though he always scowled this one looked like a nastier scowl.
"Filthy blood traitor." He said as and audiable whisper. His friends sneered.

Marty was ignoring him. Anka half glared half scoweled at him. He walked up to him and put his face right up to Marty's.
"How dare you ignore me you filthy little Blood traitor." He said through clenched teeth.
Marty merly looked up straight into Anka's eyes. Anka started to walk away.
"I guess he has no courage to speak without his cousin. She's just as much as a Filty..." Anka stopped in mid sentence as Marty had raised his wand.

Anka was quicker, a flash of red light came from his wand and hit Marty in the Chest.
He'd been hit with the jelly legs curse.

The Slytherins, howling with laughter and Marty wobbled about, hadn't noticed Grace enter.

She quickly raised her own wand and pointed it at Anka. Greenish light hit Anka and sent his flying into the wall.

He got up looking vitually unharmed.
"You'll pay for that you dirty blood..." Anka stopped... He looked like he was going to be sick. He fell to the ground, opened his mouth, and out came spewing plenty of fat and slimy slugs.

The Gryffindors now fell about laughing.
Anka friends picked him up.
"We'll get you for that later..." they told Grace.

Grace went straight to Marty and cast the Counter curse.
"You Ok?" She asked him.

((Ok. I'll just go to Transfiguration. I guess some people in 5th year can be with me O_O.))

Irwin waved back as Marty said hi to him. Then he climbed in as he stated the password and the Fat Lady swung open. Walking by the message board, he saw the notice for Quidditch Trials, but he wasn't really interested in it. Sports were, after all, not really his thing. He sighed and walked up to get his Transfiguration book. He really hoped he would meet more people... after all, school everyday would be boring without any friends.

((In the books, not everyone in the year is in the same class at the same time. So I'm going somewhere else because I have no idea where everyone else is at in the RP and I'm a bit too lazy to check. So I'm just going to Care of Magical Creatures instead.))

Natalia gasped in pleasure at the little golden horse that stood before her. The tiny unicorn seemed scared of the small sea of people infront of it- Natalia couldn't blame it, though. It had probably been taken from its mother in order to teach the class. She wondered how the mother was feeling now- was she desperately searching for her baby? Or had she just grieved for a while and moved on?

Natalia ignored the professor as he ((she?)) droned on about unicorns and their special powers. She was snapped out of her gazing spell, however, as he ((?)) spoke her name.

"Natalia", he said gruffly, as if he knew she wasn't paying attention, "Tell me the part of the unicorn that can make you immortal. You should know if you were listening to the lecture I just gave you all. And you should probably know it anyway, whether you heard the lecture at all or not- you are taking this at a NEWT level, you know."

Of course she knew it was at NEWT level. She wasn't stupid.

"The part of the unicorn that can make a person immortal is the blood. However, once a person drinks the blood of such a pure creature, they become cursed", she said with her teeth gritted. The professor, who seemed a bit upset she had gotten it right, tossed her a point for Ravenclaw and continued the lesson.

((Sorry it's rubbish. Not been in an RPing mood lately, and it took me a good five times, if not more, to get this to this state.))

Marty put his hand against the wall, trying to recover from the effects of the jelly legs curse. He grinned at Grace. "That was great, Grace!" he said. "I was going to hit him with the Bat Bogey Hex, but he obviously said what he did to provoke me... because he was ready. I tell you, jelly legs is no fun."

He watched the slugs wriggle about on the floor, obviously baffled about coming out of someone's mouth at such a rate. "Hey, Anka, you might want a bucket. Flich won't like that, huh?" Marty said, stowing his wand back in his robes.

Wed Jul 27, 2005 8:39 pm

"I'll get you for this you wannabe Mudbloods," he said after a particularty bad slug attack. "you always hide behing her. But I'll get you... next time..."

The Gryffindors just continued to laugh at him.

Professor Slughorn arrived on the scene.

"What's been going on here?" he asked them all, surveying the scene.

Nobody Answered. The only sound that could be heard was Anka's throwing up.
