Ok, this is something I studied in College for my Psychology Degree. I loved it then and i love it now still. I was looking around and found this website which has all the information online.

Heh, me too! 1% I mean... I'm an INFP, as stated before. And maybe I didn't confuse it as much as I thought... It totally knows me... 'tis scary. Just found the place where I look for the stuff...

These people are idealistic, self-sacrificing, and somewhat cool or reserved. They are very family and home oriented, but don't relax well. High capacity for caring. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 1% of the total population.

INFPs feel internal turmoil when they find themselves in situations in which there is conflict between their inner code of ethics and their relationships with others. They feel caught between pleasing others and maintaining their own integrity. Their natural tendency to identify with others, compounded with their self-sacrificial dispositions, tends to leave them confused as to who they really are. Their quiet personalities further feeds their feelings of depersonalization. The INFP's quest for self-identity then seems even more alluring — but increasingly impossible to attain.

As with all NFs, the INFP will feel lost and perplexed at stressful times. As stress builds, INFPs become disconnected from their own personality and perceived place in life. They will lose sight of who they are in relation to time and place. They may not make basic observations, while instead they will focus on the more abstract and symbolic meanings of a particular interaction. This can sometimes baffle those who expect more direct communication and a fairly concrete relationship.

I'm an ISTP, in other words, an artisan. Strange, in all the personality tests I had to take in planning class, this one came up several times, and a complete opposite came up another few times.

This still doesn't really convince me. :P

Oh, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Test. I paid $10 to take it in my school (it was compulsory). To think that you can take it for free on the net.

EDIT: Just for fun, I took the test again. This time, I got INTJ.

INTP: "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. They are good at logic and math and make good philosophers and theoretical scientists, but not writers or salespeople. 1% of the total population.

INTJ: "Scientist". Most self-confident and pragmatic of all the types. Decisions come very easily. These are the most independent of all types. They love logic and ideas and are drawn to scientific research. They can be rather single-minded, though.. 1% of the total population.

Either way, I'm still a rare breed.

Hmm, describes me pretty well! This test was pretty accurate. It even said I should be a writer, which I really want to be!
