Your eyesight?

Thu Sep 29, 2005 11:29 am

PPTers go on the internet a lot (duh.) Lots of computers and television = eyes break. Therefore, I think most of us are wearing contacts or glasses xP And I'm also interested to see which PPTers have managed to maintain perfect vision even when they go on PPT 24/7 :P

I wear contacts, used to wear glasses ^^;

I have a lovely pair of red glasses. They match my freshly dyed hair. :)

My eyesight is slightly longsighted, but not enough to need glasses.

I wear glasses and contacts, depends on the outfit and my mood :P. I have pretty bad vision, looking into lasik surgery but it's expensive for me at the moment :(.

I wouldn't say my eyesight is perfect, but I certainly don't need glasses or contacts.

I have pretty perfect eyesight I think - no contacts or glasses anyway :)

I use a computer for an average of 3-4 hours a day, and I'm mildly shortsighted: -1 in my right eye and -1.5 in my left.

However, this is just hereditary myopia- the rest of my family are all much more shortsighted than I am.

I wear glasses. :)

I have perfect vision, nothing wrong with it, as far as I can tell.

I'm a bit short sighted. Couldn't give a medical figure for it. They didn't tell me. Anyhow. I wear glasses when reading off white board mostly.

I don't really like the idea of contacts, either.

8 years of glasses, shortsighted. -3.75 in my right eye, -4.10 in my left. According to my optometrist, it's "peaking" there, I won't get getting much worse, and his theory has proven correct so far for the last two years or so.

This is somewhat hereditary- my dad's got -5 eyes (but my mom's got somewhere in the -1s and my sister somewhere around -0.5). That's as far as I know.

Contacts seem too hassling for me, so I've stuck with glasses. Both have their cons- contacts suffocating your eyes if worn too long, and glasses causing your eyes to move slightly out if worn for years on end (which seems to be happening to me, as well as my dad- he's got goldfish eyes o_o).

Glasses for me since 2 years ago... I've got -2 in my left eye and about -1 in my right eye.
I think it's getting worse, I must have taken after my mum o_O

Never needed glasses or contacts. My eyesight used to be great (compared tojust about every other person in my family), but lately, my left eye has decided to power down a bit. I forget what my eyesight is anymore, but it's not 20/20. :\
