I laughed at my friend who dropped her phone in the toilet and had to fish it out while she was in Europe backpacking. Now my phone just dropped in the toilet.
I don’t know how it happened. I was sitting in the toilet at my friends house doing this week’s reading for “Product Brand Management”, and after I flushed and looked down, there was my phone merrily swirling in the toilet swirls of the after-flush.
My mobile phone died in the swishing swirls of the toilet after-flush. Please have a moment of silence and leave messages of condolence in respect of the loyal service it has provided for all of us in the aid of arranging drunken debaucheries of wild nights and merriment.
By the way, for people who this happens to, if your mobile phone drops into the toilet (or water for that matter), never turn it on again unless you want the circuits to fry. Let the thing dry, then turn it on the next day. I wish someone told me this before I did it.

Karma blows
I once laughed at my friend because she had a spot on her chin.
The next day, I got one in exactly the same place!!!

I would have told you, but you never asked...

Heh, the same thing happened to one of my friends once (only she was the first one to do it.

The phone dropping in toilet thing). She didn't get it back in time to stop the toilet from clogging, though. Poor girl.
She was planning on getting a new cell phone anyways, that just sped up the whole deal. XD

Is that supposed to be a voicemail or a text message... *sniggers*
Silly monkey - what were you doing with a phone in the loo anyway?
Any phone that went down my loo would be permenantly dyed blue (I've got that bloo stuff that keeps it cleaner)

I'm sorry to hear that! If my phone was lost in the toilet, I don't know what I would do. It's my first baby. (Second baby being my iPod, Podney.)
My deepest condolences! :-(

Podney is a very, very cute name.

I dropped my keys in the toilet once when I was putting on socks.. And then my phone fell out of my pocket and smashed on the ground.. then... I didn't want to get my keys.. So I got someone to do it for $5... How pathetic are some 14 year olds?
Not quite as bad as a cell phone, but it karma sucks sometimes.

If it makes you feel better, I once washed my phone in the washing machine by accident. Needless to say, it died a watery death.

Poor phone. It drowned! And not only did it die a horrible death but it also lost its dignity drowning in such a place.
My deepest condolancies go out to the phone and its family. I hope that they can come to terms with the loss very soon.
A couple of my friends had this happen to them too. It was really quite funny...

The same thing happened to my sister once. The next phone she got she lost when she was with some friends on the way back to San Diego from Las Vegas (apparently they stopped the car because she was sick and needed to vomit). Her next phone had some problem with the reception, and you couldn't talk to her for more than 5 minutes at a time.
Apparently she has bad luck with phones.

I broke my phone jumping into a pool once, i had it in the pocket of my boardies, and i just threw off my shirt and jumped in when we got there.
Needless to say, the sudden realization and cursing in mid air was the funniest bit.

My dad dropped his phone in the toilet. I laughed at him.
Karma doesn't affect me.

Sounds like the story of my friends cellphone. (Ok not really

)
We went to a wavepool and he forgot to take his cellphone out of his bathing suit pockets. So the cell fell in the pool and went into the deep end. Took him 2 hours to realize his cellphone was missing. We looked for it in the rides and finally spotted it at the bottom of the wave pool. We dived down, went to get it. After letting it dry for half an hour the phone worked exactly like it did before it dropped into the water. Hehe Lucky boy.

Losing a phone is bad. Worst I can equate from my life is losing a TI-86 to a rainstorm. It was in the farthest back pocket, and we had a very big storm. My bag was soaked. The calculator would not work, even with new batteries. Best part was I needed it for the next day's Linear Analysis test. My new one gets extreme protection from the rain now. (Sorta wish I could lose this one too and switch up to a TI-89

)
