Fujitsu.

Hmm... don't think I've ever touched a Fujitsu computer, but while Gateways... um... aren't great, I've at least used/had/seen one of them, and they don't only make laptops as your description mentions.

Went Fujitsu, though I don't think I've used one. My brother had a Gateway and it sucked.

Now bring on Apple! We want our king! (Note: I am not a Mac user)

Me and you both. (Note: I am a Mac user.)

My Fujitsu laptop latches onto pretty much every wireless network it encounters, which is sweet enough I'm voting for it. It doesn't help that I haven't used a Gateway since Windows 98, mind.

I went Gateway on this one. They're not my favorite, but they do make a few computers I'd be interested in buying.

Apple will get its chance, though it might not be anytime soon. ;)

(Note: I like Apples.)

Meh. All the computers I have ever had were custom.

I'm going with Fujitsu just because of the fact that I have owned a Gateway, and it royally sucked along with their customer service.

Even though I've never even seen a Fujitsu, let alone use one I voted for it. Had a gateway, was the absolute worst piece of trash. Died in under a year. Mayan, boy do I agree on the customer service too! I have a huge folder of paperwork (don't know why I still have it) from when I was trying to get them to honor their own warranty, letters and documents to every BBB I could up to attorney general of the state gateway's incorporated in. I was that mad!

My current computer was built for me ... about 6 years ago - so far I've needed a new PSU and atm am waiting for a new graphics card (is slowly going :( ). Not too shabby for 3 people using it, heavy use for 6 years.

Gateway, because mine has run well for all of the eight years I've had it. :)
