Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

So, what's your favorite city in the world? Any particular reason?
Chicago's my favorite, just for the utter Chicagoness of it. I can't really explain much better than that, though I do love the architecture. Close runners-up would be Dublin for the literary quality of the place, Atlanta for being home to some good childhood memories, and Ankh-Morpork for the quality of rat you can get there.

Atlanta FTW! Because I'm from there.

And so's FF5...and a bunch of other people.
And it's just awesome.

I don't have one, I have several:
Derby because it's where I have my flute exams (

) and because it has an excellent Waterstones I just can't walk past without going into
London because it's where my grandparents live
Oxford BECAUSE IT JUST OWNS ALL
Londonderry because it's pretty.
And almost all of the Australian cities. Yeah

Birmingham, England. It's wonderful! Most of my friends live there, it's where I met the lovely Rachel, I love the shops, the pubs and the clubs.

I like Chicago a lot, especially Navy Pier. I rarely get to go, but I really enjoy it and going out onto the river. =D

Uppsala cos it's where I grew up.
Southend-on-sea cos there's always something to do.
London just 'cos it's London.
Dubai was just sexy.

Pudding and Kugetsu, I love you. =P
Well, Chicago's my favorite city of course, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I happen to like Milwaukee, too, and I've just been itching to visit Toronto, Tokyo, and Madride.

I'm not a big fan of cities. Too many people, too much noise, not enough trees/plants/etc. So yeah, none I guess.

I went to New Zealand with my family early last year, and I
really liked Auckland. I was surprised by how much I liked it. It's a very pretty city, with so much water and green hills around it. It reminds me of Hobart (my home town), but bigger and cooler
I like Cambridge, it's also a pretty place. The river and the college gardens...! But I think I'm biased because I lived there for a while, and I get all nostalgic.

Ah! I've been there once. All I remember is that it has a series of very scary highway intersections? XD

Um, let's see...
Austin! I cannot tell you how much I love that city. One of the best universities is there, it's the capital of Texas, it's the Live Music Capital of the World, it has the perfect amount of weirdness, and many big tech companies have their headquarters there or a big office. (Dell, IBM, Samsung, NCSoft, etc.)
After Austin (in no particular order) I'd have to say San Diego, San Jose, and Paris.

#1: San Fran just because it is the only major city that I visit often enough and still like.
#2: LA. Same reason as SF, except I don't see it as often.
#3: SLO because that is where I go to school
#4: LB because that is where I grew up
#5: Signal Hill because it was so fun to drive down and because it is in the middle of LBC
#6: Sacto since I can't think of any other cities that I like

NYC! So much to do, so little time...

Venice.
I'm so sad that Venice is sinking (I learnt about that from my friends)...it's really a beautiful place. You should go there.

So true...I prefer the ocean.

But I still like Venice though (oh yeah it IS near the ocean

).

San Luis Obispo and Long Beach... actually I don't think there should be a 'C' since that may confuse with the county.
SLO is one of the few cities between SB and Monterey. It is the city center of SLO County. Cal Poly - SLO is found there. If you heard of Jamba Juice, that company started with us.
Long Beach... well, Queen Mary, former home of Spruce Goose, just south of LA, one of the largest harbors in the world for a time. Fun place where a lot of my family still lives.
