Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Has anyone of you had a moment, where you go to sleep, wake up and have this moment of revelation and realize that your life has changed forever?
I have. Many times. I wake up happier everyday... especially when I see how others suffer. I keep this thing called a gratitude journal where I write down 5 things I'm grateful for everyday before I go to sleep. It's ... wow ... it's really changed my life in the sense that now I actively look for things to put in my journal at night ... and it makes me realize how blessed I am with the little things I have.
You should try it. It takes 2 minutes every night to do.

I'm grateful for the huge block of chocolate I have. Oh wait.. We're.. Nevermind...
No, not really...

No.
Something deep and personal like my view on life is not subject to insta-change (tm).

well, I did have a huge part of my social life changed over night, I guess...I went to bed at midnight and was woken up by a friend at 3:30 AM with tons of things changed including the change in relationship between most of my friends @_@
I dunno, I don't tend to have "aha! moments" as much as I have days or weeks where things get all blurry and fuzzy and then suddenly clear.

I would honestly be hard pushed for five.
Unless I went at things like "I'm glad I don't have tuberculosis" in which case I could probably do a few hundred easy.

I have the moments, but they never actually go through.
I tell my self im gonna change this, or do that. But I always take it all back and never do it. I've changed a lot the past couple of years, and coming up in my senior year I have to change. I have no other choice. I don't want too, but it's something I gotta do.

But what if you got tuberculosis?
Just sayin'.

I wouldn't say so.

I'm grateful for a lot of stuff, and I do find this out every now and then.
As for things changing overnight? That hasn't happened all that much. Although, there was the time when I woke up and didn't realize I was talking to my family in Spanish until they reminded me. That made me feel pretty good.

The only time I've ever had any kind of epiphany was actually when I was watching Letterman one night. I was watching the show, thinking "Dang, that must be a really fun gig for the band! You get to stand there and play cool music while watching extremely silly stuff happening right in front of you every day. Looks like it must be the most entertaining job ever!"
And then something in my mind clicked, as if everything fell into place at last. Then a few weeks later, I switched my major from Music Education to Music Business and Technology.

I don't know that a life can be changed overnight. Usually lives are not changed while one sleeps.
However, I do go to sleep angry and upset and unhappy, and wake up with a calm acceptance sometimes.

No. You freak.

Not really, although sometimes I am sad, then I am happy!

Then I'd probably be a bit annoyed that I hadn't been thankful that I didn't have it...
But also rather annoyed that I did...

For me, I'm just grateful throughout the day whenever a situation or instance pops up. I journal before I go to bed (write down highly emotional thought and whatnot)...but I don't think it's an overnight process, really. More like a continuing, gradual change...
