I mean, I think it's that kind of mind thing. You think it's actually there because you want it to be there enough. Like, your subconscious "wills" it there so that you think you can do this crazy stuff but you really can't...

I believe in most of the things listed, there's just a few that I'm wondering about (which I won't mention ). Tarot cards, I've never understood how those work (mind you I've read up on them a bit) Tarot... Parrot... Pirate... Treasure! I think I have the special ability of word association! (or whatever it's called...).

ROFL You are SO weird. I couldn't read tarot cards for most of my life, even after reading up on them, and then there was my dragon deck. I was really attracted to it even though I couldn't afford it. I kept going back to it and picking it up off the shelf. Finally I bit my tounge and bought it, and after looking at the cards and meditating a while on it, I started very easily picking up how to read

knew that book by heart, course i was a late learner reading wise too, but now i read at an immense rate

Dude, I just want you to freaking stop. It hurts my feelings when people make fun of that aspect of my life, and it's something I'm very protective and defensive over it. I really really just want you to STOP IT.

You do not have to agree with every other member of PPT ( And you won't at some point. Believe me). You do not have to like every other member at PPT. You do, however, have to respect every other member of PPT. And when I say respect, I mean respect their right to have their say just as you have the right to yours. If at any point you think what a member is saying may be out of line, you should contact a Moderator and have them look into it for you. If somebody flames you, do NOT retaliate. You will end up in as much trouble as them. Just contact a Moderator. Its their job to deal with members breaking these rules, remember?

For an example: I read the tarot. I'm extremely GOOD at reading the tarot and have done it for a little over 100 people both offline and online. I used to have my own buisness doing it. Now, from that I can conclude, I have a power, or gift, for reading tarot cards accurately. Now, someone who doesn't believe tarot cards tell anything, and/or are the work of the devil can scream that no! I am lying! I am not good at reading the tarot, there is no such thing as an acurate tarot reading! (I'm stretching a bit here, but it's just because I'm using my own example, which is a hard one to use XD) That doesn't mean I'm lying at all...

That's not the kind of thing I'm talking about. Anyone who has the ability to learn can read the tarot, some better than others. I mean the sensing auras of energy around people, telepathy, etc. I know some people can believe in them, but it's not good to lie. And I'm sure that at LEAST three of the people posting on this thread have lied. Not pointing out any fingers to anybody.

You could be right, there could be people that are lying in this thread...but just because you don't believe that people can see auras and things doesn't make it a lie. There's another good analogy here but I will leave it for the debating board.
