I was at a friend's inaugural launch of her organization to support her and watch her very cool speech and what-not. The entertainment for the evening was a taste of the Latin culture through dance and festivities. I got pulled on stage into the dance with them. The only problem was that I didn’t know how to dance flamenco. According to an onlooker, it looked like a mixture between Bollywood and an interpretation of Latin flamenco.

I don’t know why I started clapping. I think because other people started clapping in time to the music.

Luckily, my dancing partner started clapping with me, so it looked like I at least knew what I was doing… sort of.

Eventually I ended up just running on the spot.
