Do you have a penpal?

I used to write to my cousin who lives in the UK if you could classify that as having a penpal but as we've both gotten older we've sort of stopped

I sporadically write to quite a few people.

Mostly it's jsut birthday/christmas cards though. Or spur-of-the-moment presents.

Actually, I have written a snail mail letter to my best Gaia friend, and she acknowledged getting it, but I wasn't allowed to give her my return address, so she couldn't write back.

A penpal is someone whom (usually) lives a long distance away so writing emails/letters is the easiest way of comunication without travelling alot. Also (usually) a penpal is someone whom you haven't met. But it's not definite.

Hum, sort of. It's more like friends who have moved away. I'm pretty irregular with my letters though, except for one in Germany who I do write to more than irregularly.

I also know one in New Zealand, another in Australia, another in Canada, another in England and two in the USA, but I don't keep in contact with one of them.

I used to have one in the US (Delaware) but we sort of stopped. And I had quite a few email pen pals. Those were fun. I'm kind of looking for one right now. Sounds like something I'd want to get back into.

Even if we write each other e-mails and not letters...
Even if she's not in a far away contry...She lives in West Virginia...
But for a girl like me that lives in Quebec,Montreal...Virginia's Far!!!

I tried having like 3 or 4 penpals right before I got a job. Then as I started working I had no time whatsoever to write to them. I felt HORRIBLE because I couldn't finish writing them after one letter :\ I hope to try again and get at least one or two.
