::hugs tight::

I wish I could do more than help, other than give you a big hug and be here if you need to talk. =(

Thats OK because there really isn't anything to say that hasn't already been said. :)

My great-grandma's hinting that we'd better come visit her soon, because she might die, but jeez... You've got it waaay worse.

*ENORMOUS HUG.*

And I don't normally hug.
Ever.

Thanks alot Eo. :)

Oh wow, I'm so sorry. I haven't lost my grandparents yet (fortunately) so I can't know how it feels but it must feel absolutely horrible :( *hugs*

Kyra, I told you this over the phone yesterday, but I'm gonna say it again.

I am so sorry for you. I know how hard this is hitting you, and how much you loved him. But, you know, everything happens for the best, doesn't it? He was in pain, obviously, and it was time for him to go. He's probably much more happy now. However, I know it's so hard to deal with, but you just have to keep trying to move on. Don't remember the first few seconds before he died. Remember all the laughs and all the smiles and all of the happy times you've shared. He'd want it that way.

I know you guys will make it through, Kyra. I know you're strong enough.

Don't be afraid to cry, tears are healing.

If you ever need to talk to a stranger who knows what its like to loose someone... I'm a PM away.

True, he is in a better place now. I just wish (for my own selfish reasons) he was still alive, not in pain of course. He was drowning in the fluid that was in his lungs and a few times my Grampa thought Great Grampa was dead. He was only breathing about 10 times a minute. :( Can you imagine?

*massive squashy tacklehug* :(

I'm so sorry. I remember when my nan died - she was in a coma for a week before she passed away. It was awful waiting for that moment. At least he isn't in pain any more, and hey, 95 is a ripe old age :)

Oh kyra Im so sorry, I remember how painful it was when my Grandad died. Theres nothing any of us can say that will take that pain away from you, but try and remember the times you had together before he died. Nothing can take those memories away, and they will help you when you feel down.

I know how you feel! My grandpa isn't very well...
Here's a HUGE hug, and three more.
I'm so sorry! As everyone else is saying, feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it... I'm sure he's in a better place right now.
As my grandma often says,"It's a blessing when people who are in pain pass away."

I'm no good at things like this, but I can sort of imagine what you are going through, having lost my grandfather about a year ago. I'm really sorry, these will be tough times, but you will make it through and when you come out of the hard times you will be stronger. It's good you got to know your great-grandfather and that he lived a long life :) .
