Ah Paris. Dont go to Eurodisney, what ever you do. We got dragged there on a school trip because they couldnt figure out any other way to keep us from falling asleep. It is quite an experience to be in disney world in a blizzard... rather odd actually.
I loved the Louvre, even if it was ratehr rushed with a tour guide, but we say the Monda Lisa (not bad, not great, winged victory was much better), vinus de milo, many paintings, huge ones that covered the entire wall, but we didnt get farther than that.
I totally recommend going to Chateau de Versailles if you can get out there. Freaking awesome! Thats all I can say about it. Amazing.
Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle were beautiful as well, Saint Chapelle has some amazing stained glass.
Normandy has gorgeous sunsets. We stayed in a hotel right on the Normandy Landing beach. Awesome.
St Malo has some of the best ice cream in France, the walled city is beautiful, but the water is COLD. Also, its a very small city so you can wander around and not get too lost. There are almost no cars either.
The Loire Valley was freaking fantastic. Chateau Chambord is a must see, though its out in the middle of no where. Amazing staircase... until you get lost on it! Good times. All the Chateaus are really cool,
I found the climate quite nice. We went early March. It snowed the first day and was cold and raininy in Paris, but as soon as we left it was HOT, by Canadian standards anyway, (we were in t-shirts, tour guide was in a parka).
Dinners take forever! Crazy meals, breakfast is exactly the same no matter where you are. The metro was interesting and you have to walk up and down along the Seine river.

I've always wanted to go to Paris. I'm kind of an artsy romantic freak.
I wish I had advice or guidance to give you...but sadly, I've never had the chance to go to France, let alone Paris. You'll have to tell everyone about it when you get back.

i never, never thought i'd be able to go. i truly consider this a blessing, and i'm not even a spiritual-type of girl.
i certainly will give a report when i return. i hope to be able to visit all these places! i'm so excited!

You HAVE to buy roast chestnuts, you can find a stall on every street corner . Dey iz gorjus.

There are lots of sandwich vendors too, especially around Notre Dame. The French make sandwiches differently than we do...they slice baguette kind of like we would a hoagie (or sub if you're not from Philly) roll, but it's much better, because it's baguette! I pretty much lived off of chicken sandwiches in Paris because they were so good.

PARIS! OH PARIS!
You have gotta go to their bakerys.
There is this one hotel I stayed at......
All you could see was just a door in the side of the wall.
But it had 6 floors and was really cool.
The Eiffel Tower and Notre Dome are must sees.
We had really good chinese food at some place there....

Amen, my mom and I lived off of sandwhichs while we were there too. They're so tasty plus you can sit outside or wander about and see more stuff as you eat rather than just sitting in some restaurant or cafe. Although sitting at a sidewalk table at a cafe is a great place to people-watch.
