I just heard about it this morning.
It's so sad. I'm very interested in journalism, and Peter Jennings was one of the greats. He will be missed.

I just now thought about it and hadn't seen him on TV for a while. I didn't even know he had lung cancer.
This was a shock. He will be greatly missed, I know I enjoyed him on the ABC news.

Same here. He was at ABC for 41 years. I cannot remember a time when I did not see him broadcasting the news.
Truly a legend. I will never forget just how calm and collected he was during his broadcasting of 9/11. And, the hours he spent doing that.

In the article linked on the first page it says that he logged in 60 hours that week. I remember thinking during that week, God he must be so tired. But no matter what, he was still on the air telling us what was going on.
