Anyway, for me...I don't know, I like a lot of different animals, although I'm terrified of many as well (all birds and reptiles). I love Jersey dairy cows, particularly when they're calves...they look so adorable! I showed them in 4-H for many years. I'm also partial to small dogs and playful kittens/cats (I don't like them as well when they're stuck up).
I can't say too much about truly wild or exotic animals. While they might be pretty to look at on TV, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be near many of them in real life, thus it's hard to say they're a 'favorite' when I would be terrified to pet them. ^_-
I used to love horses, but one too many bad experiences, as well as not being near them for many years, has turned that love into a pretty strong fear.

I love cats big and small, from pet cats to small wild cats to the big cats. I just admire them a lot =)
Out of wild animals though my favourites are probably Snow Leopards and Red Pandas
And Tigers. And Pine Martens. And Wolves. Ooh, and Otters.

Think sparrow, but 1000x cuter, 100x smarter, 1000x cleaner, 100x louder, and 50x friendlier - in the wild they follow people as they find them interesting, at Waitangi there is a group of them that will land on people (the photo is of one of them). The ones that live in cities and suburbs are particually noisy and less friendly but still like to watch people.
