I remembered my worst to date: Rhubarb pie. It is my dad's favorite so I didn't want to offend him by spitting it out. After one piece, I never ate anything with rhubarb again. Sorry to rhubarb fans, but that stuff is gross.

Thank you for reminding me of the worst food I've ever eaten. My grandparents and my mom think rhubarb pie is one of the best foods ever. They wanted me to try a bite one day and I was pretty hesitant, but they told me it tasted like strawberries...Boy were they wrong...Gross!

What's Updog? I can't remember what it tasted like now. It didn't have a pleasant taste I can remember that much. I was focusing on getting it down my throat more than anything. We were in a sushi bar so I'd have felt rude if I spat it out.

note: when trying new foods don't shove it in your mouth all at once on the assumption you'll love it. I learned my lesson.

How did you not die? Thats disgusting. That's like.. older than my grand parents.

I don't know how I didn't die but they're not really 100-years old. I think it's pretty popular among the Chinese. My ex-roommate (who eats them all the time) made me try it after we saw it on Fear Factor. FEAR FACTOR. Nothing they eat on that show can possibly be good so that gives you an idea what I went through.

EDIT: Yup WIS, they're black and gelatinous. Have you tried one? I have several friends who love them with soy sauce and porridge. *Cringe*

Fish brains congee; to make me "smarter".

If you ever need/want/eat fish brains, do not prod it. I scooped some up in my spoon and started to prod it with my chopsticks.

Then something popped up from the bit I scooped up and I yelled, "EWWWW!!! SOMETHING JUST POPPED UP!! GROOOSSSS!! EWWW!!"

And I wouldn't stop making a fuss about it until my mum told me I could ignore the thing that just popped up, and did not understand why my mum and bro were laughing their heads off (pffft, they're not the ones who had things popped up from their fish brains).
