And I don't eat porridge.
Well, when I looked it up it said oatmeal boiled in water, so I assumed it was nearly the same thing, which in some aspects it is.
In any case, I haven't actually had "real" porridge.

Haven't had porridge in aaaaages cause
a) don't have breakfast, makes me sick for my morning buses (and 7 o'clock is too damn early to be eating)
and b) its been summer
But when I do have it (and this has suddenly given me a craving for it) I have it with tons of raw sugar (we only use raw, none of that processed stuff) and some extra milk... mmmm....

I've never had porridge. o-O The closest I've come to having it is probably cream of wheat... which I add a little bit of sugar, cinnamon, and milk to. =)
Unless cream of wheat -is- a porridge... ^-^;;
Hm. I want that now. Maybe I'll make it for breakfast on Saturday, if I can find any. Can't eat at home for breakfast on school days -- anything before 7:30 is too early to eat for me. o-O

I lurrve pease porridge with mint and butter, but it's the very devil to prepare it time-wise, so I'll go with grits, butter, sugar and milk.

With a teeny bit of maple syrup, lots of brown sugar, and only about 2/3 the amount of water/milk the stuff is supposed to have in it, because I like it thick and gooey.

I like it with some milk.
That said, I haven't had porridge for at least 5 years.

To be perfectly honest, I've never tried poridge. I mean, I'm not the world's biggest fan of oatmeal, but I don't think that's the same as poridge.
So, should I try it?

I've never had porridge. But I imagine it would taste good with babies.
