No, no, you'd shave it first.

No, no, no. You have to hot wax them. A nice buttery, hot wax.

No, no, no, no. Wax is bad on their shells. It makes them all crumbly and disgusting, you see.

I see. How about broiled or grilled? That will get rid of the fur, cook the meat, and leave the shell pristine. Win-win.

Just saw that in bbc.com a few minutes ago. Before anyone think of eating it (which is too late :P), you should know that it is likely to be a carnivore, since it's seen fighting two crabs over a lobster, and it can spew out fluids which are lethal to most animals

Oh well, it might be a delicacy much like fugu

I think it is cute. LOL. Well it is interesting...

After reading through all of the reactions, most have been along the lines of: 'Aww! It is so cute <3 ' or 'It is like if puppies and kittens could have babies.' This leads me to believe that this scary looking thing is not suited for the dinner plate, but more for the local pet store.

I can see it now: People walking their lobsters down the street. Annual lobster shows or adding a new category to other pet shows in the form of 'best pincers'. Vets would have to learn how to treat invertebrates. Last, but not least, the warning from Bob Barker will now include some form of lobster care.

The future of the pet community is scary.

How about the Neopets community? :P
Maybe they'll invent some furry lobster as a new pet :D

AHA! You have finally made me realize why I also don't like this lobster. It does look like those evil 8-legged creatures which I am terrified of :(

The only way this thing could get any cooler to me is if someone modified it with some jellyfish dna to make it glow. They'll probably get around to it sooner or later.

6) Glowing, blonde, furry lobsters? The only thing to make that better would be if they were covered with cheese.
