You're just plain mean!

I eat whole wheat pasta, so pasta dishes are good. I think i'm going ot be eating a lot of frozen veggies (frozen peas, frozen corn) *sighs*. Yurk.

Potatoes are a definite! I love jacket potatoes. They're rather easy to make and they taste pretty good. Simply microwave the potato for a few minutes, but poke a few holes in it with a fork in case it explodes. Cut a medium sized hole in it, (or just cut the potato in half if you're not a very cutter), scoop all the potato out into a bowl. Add some melted margarine, salt, and seasoning (and some shredded cheese if you can afford it). Mash it all up and put it back into the potato. Top with a few diced vegetables (tomatoes, green peppers, broccoli, etc.) if you want and reheat it in the oven/microwave. :)

I dont know.. if you're up for soaking, buy lots of dried beans. I think they're cheaper than canned. And of course soup is good..

I dont know about you, but I like eating salads and stuff in the morning time :D So, what I do for nice cheap *healthy* lunches for 2/3 days, is get a nice lettuce, cucumber, a couple of cans of sweetcorn, celery, pasta, and if you like salad cream/mayo, that too. Then I cook enough pasta for a few days (for me i find pasta is nicest if i pour water over it, then drain it, and do that a few times to get rid of the icky salty stuff, then put it on to cook), and wash all the lettuce, cut the cucumber and celery, drain the sweetcorn, and make a nice lettuce, cucumber, celery and (a little) sweetcorn sandwich. Then when the pasta is done, put it in a big bowl and mix in the rest of the sweetcorn, take out however much you want to eat, put it in a smaller bowl and mix in mayo/salad cream (optional). Put beside your sandwich with maybe a little salad on the side, and voila! A nice, healthy filling lunch. Important- if you want to keep the pasta for a few days, dont mix mayo or anything into to the main bowl, as it goes off reaaally quickly.
I like this sorta meal because you can keep the lettuce, cucumber and celery for a few days, and if you put the pasta in the fridge, you can eat it as a snack when your hungry. If you cant afford all the stuff though, a salad bag tends to be quite cheap =D

Use all your money to buy porridge. Pour it into a drawer and let it harden. Cut it into pieces (like rice crackers). Enjoy.
