Acutally, I dozed off before they even gave me the anestesia. (I can't spell).
Apparently I had a hernia, and some ligaments had been pulled through the opening. I'm still in a lot of pain from the surgery (I had several holes in the abdominal wall, and those muscles are used in everything from coughing to walking to standing up from sitting or sitting up from lying down, so it WILL hurt for a while), but I'm on the road to recovery. Thanks for all your kind words and prayers, I appriciate it more than you know.

Robin, I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well and that you have some answers now! I hope that your recovery is quick and that everything else goes smoothly for you.

Glad you're okay... even the thought of surgery is painful, and I can't imagine what it's actually like. Hope the recovery is quick: get to perfect health soon!

One of my friends had a hernia not too long ago. You'll be fine, trust me. Just try not to exert yourself until you're healed.
It was pretty bad for him, too. Guys, you know that test they do when you get a physical? Where they grab your man-parts and make you cough? Well, that's what they're looking for, and they found one on him. We made fun of him for days XD
