In this case i'd say that the title really says it all and that the emoticon speaks for itself. Shifty eyed arrow and all.

No, it's perfectly fine where it is.

Hey, Mark! Long time, no see. You've been missed.

Regarding the emoticon issue:
That's fine then. I just wasn't sure if you'd get into trouble for it, that's all. I might be thinking of a different forum, though. I can definitely remember a place that is strict about posts not being a certain length.

You're not imagining it Ginger - It's a guideline on this forum that posts should be of a reasonable length. I think that the first post in a topic can potentially be an exception, like in this case, as the title of the thread says what he wanted to say. If he'd replied to a post with just "

" that would have been at least frowned upon. Make sence?

Back before the reboot before the most recent reboot, there was a soft "three word rule" for posts. You'd often see someone make a one-word reply, and in very tiny font, write, "This is not spam."
I actually miss that rule - I always thought that was kinda funny.

You do realize that makes me want to reply to a post with just

right?

*yawns* Anyways. Back on topic now shall we? I do believe Mark just got punched by someone and that some other heinous person is going to shove some bugs up Marks nose.
