The nearest houses were about 20 miles away (or was it 50?), but they evacuated those people too.

It does seem like one natural disaster after another doesn't it?I mean the hurricanes one after another, flooding rains, sudden cold spells, and now eruptions. Well ok, technically hurricanes and eruptions are the only natural disasters, but there have been some pretty severe weather related incidents lately...or at least it seems so...

I know...The southerneastern most state (FL) is pounded by hurricanes while the almost northwesternmost state (WA) Has volcanoes. Well basically the whole east coast is getting the hurricanes,you get rid of one and comes another or it comes back. Then there's the reocurring cold spells up north,and who knows how long these volcano things will go on.
