Like Medusa said, gargling with warm salt water helps. I used to do that all the time when I was constantly cutting my tongue open with my braces.

and orajel is your friend.... seriously if it's bugging you a lot buy some and use it, and yes still keep your tongue away from it.

also cutting on the inside of your mouth can/may cause a canker sore, orajel works for that too :D

I have canker sores all the time so I have lots of orajel....
I have been using it since my mom suggested it yesterday morning.

Try doing what everyone else said, but if it keeps on bothering you for a while then you should see your doctor about it. It's not too likely, but the pop can could have given you tetnus. Just be careful with the wound, and hopefully it'll get better without having any complications. Keep it clean also, as in washing your mouth out often- even if it makes the cut sting a bit. Should help in the long run.
