Oh goodness-I could imagine that...floating about in deep water (?) sitting on one with your nice oxygen tank and gear fully equipped with curly straw for pineapple drink.
Fish are fun.

I've never heard of them before and never saw any pics of it.. but BLEH. How scary is that?
The live one doesn't look all that bad.. but the dead one just scares the bajebus out of me. It's mouth almost looks human! Well.. with ugly teeth.. *shudders*

I saw an ocean sunfish while whalewatching off the coast of Maine this summer. I could only see the dorsal fin, though. The sunfish was the only creature we saw that day, actually...it was too foggy to see any whales.

A tonne is a metric ton...so, it's 1000 kg. About 2200 lbs.

Actually, it's a goblin shark. From what I've seen, it's one of the more handsome ones, too.
