There's a discussion about it on the Rent LJ community. Apparently a lot more is allowed in PG-13 than the MPAA actually allows through sometimes. (Also, if you're in that, or even on LJ, there's a few mondohilarious conversations about making certain songs G-rated...especially Contact.) But yeah, I'm with you hoping that they didn't cut much out...or the rating is upped.

Yeah, I've been reading the discussion in the LJ community. I think someone said Contact wasn't even going to be in the movie.

In other news, I am bored.

It was added back in, I think. :] I'm not completely sure though, I could be wrong.

I'm bored as well, waiting for 1:00 to come. It's only 10:30-ish.

Kind of 'ugh'. Didn't accomplish a whole lot today (had fun chatting with Amethyst though). Plus, things sort of kept going wrong. Our hot water heater broke, something I didn't know until after I spent an hour playing tennis in the heat and humidity and thus was in dire need of a shower. And then an hour ago my husband and I decided that we needed milkshakes. Back tire on my car blew out halfway there. >_< On a positive note, I now that my husband and I make a good team when it comes to changing a tire. ^_^v Just like we make a good team for everything else.
