The main reason is so I can read the Megaman X mangas.

Exactly what I was thinking. lol
I took three years of Spanish back in high school, but I'm forgetting more and more of it everyday.

I have had french classes since Kindergarten. I am okay, but my graamar and spelling stinks. I can speak it fine though. I would love to learn Japanese or Italian.
I've had french since Pre kindergarten, and I still suck.
My translation of what you said: French is a language I understand completely

I'm finding more and more that French isn't such a useful language, but for some reason I keep taking it. Maybe cause it's easy marks, I'm not even sure myself.
But I'd like to learn Spanish and/or Japanese. Ironically, they're both offered at my school.
The only language I DON'T want to learn, however, is my own. Chinese- Cantonese, Mandarin, and my actual native dialect (Chiu Chow). My Chinese sucks already and I'm frankly sick of my parents trying to get me to improve. :P

Yoshi, shush, French is a very useful language, spoken in many countries. You can get a long way with your french.

I'd translate that as "French is one of the languages that are very hard to understand", but yeah, can't really get toghether the grammar in it and wondering if you actually can write it like that
Geez, many people seem to like japanese

Ah well, not complaining about that

I've taken Spanish in school but I am just so horrible learning new languages. I have absolutely no memory for vocabulary.
I wish I could speak Spanish. These days it's probably the most practical language to learn in the US since there are an increasing number of Spanish speakers here each year.
Japanese sounds like fun and all but I wish more that I could understand and read it then speak it. Same for most European languages. I like listening to a lot of music from other countries but I'd like to be able to know what the words mean.

I'm pretty sure it's incorrect...becauseyou shouldn't trasnlate everything literally. And French is feminine. And languages are 'les langues'.
'La francais est une langue trés complique a comprendre' would be better, I think, but perhaps not completely correct.

Ok thanks. To everyone above...it translates to French is a language that is very complicated to learn. And très is spelt with an 'è' not an 'é'

Juan le pasa un plátano a su tía.
I'm studying how to speak Spanish, since there's so many Latinos here in SC.

I'm taking Japanese lessons right now. Not fun. Too many letters to memorize. @_@ I can speak it alright, with the exception of particles, but I'm terrible at the writing bit.
I want to learn German, French, and Spanish. (And how to write in Japanese. Haha.)

I speak Japanese fluently. Well, almost.

nine years of studying it will get you there.
I'd like to learn French, I think it would be fun.

No, it really isn't fun. French IMO is a very complicated language that doesn't have to be. There are like 10 ways to congegate a verb in the past tense. There are lots of rules and stuff too so if you are going to learn french be prepared to work

I'm currently in 4th year Spanish and I'm attempting to teach myself Japanese. I still can't speak Spanish all that well so I suppose Spanish and Japanese.
