Just like to clear up that there is no such thing as a British accent. There's English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh accents if you want to generalise but Britsh accent is a big NO! Pet peeve....

I naturally adapt to other people's accents after spending a week hanging around them. Through just hanging out, I have picked up so many accents that I can transition into easily that some people think I have a serious multiple personality disorder.

I've actually trained myself to actually use a different accent so I wouldn't want to change again to sound like someone else. It's been quite amusing, some girl who didn't know me asked me if I had moved her from the UK.
