We keep getting that "set a good example" speech too. Like the year sevens would suddenly start tucking their shirts in and doing their ties up because we did? They'd just think we were stupid. (Though I think more year 7s tuck their shirts in than us. But I only really talk to my friends' little brothers in year 7 anyway, and guys tend to tuck their shirts in more than girls, so it might just be that.)

You'd be surprised. When you first go into secondary school you'll copy what the bigger kids do just to try and fit in. Peer pressure is a horrible thing, I got picked on because I started wearing big grey jumpers. They called me a 'keeno'. *sigh* They were laughing out the other end when rock music became the fashion though, I proudly wore my big jumpers and hoodies and listened to AC/DC until the people who picked on me decided to copy me. :P

Now we have teeny boppers. What can ya do?

Hmm. Maybe, but I don't think wearing ties up to the top button is something they'd be overly eager to copy. =P
