Use clips to clip it back to both sides, or start wearing headbands...the cloth ones can be worn far enough front to keep them back.
And, as everyone else has said, get to a hairdresser and see what they can do. =)

Hehe, I know what you're going through. My mom cut my fringe and it was so short it was unbelieavable!

Well, you REALLY don't want to make it look like a mullet, because that's worse than anything, so don't try to lop it all off. Go to a hairdresser.
Or, you could really run with the whole hat thing. Get creative! Buy tons of them.
