I am truly creeped out now.

I think it looks pretty darn human... well the first pic of it. The 2nd pic the eyes are a bit off.
I bet if someone hadn't mentioned that it was a robot and just posted the pics none of us would've even have suspected that it wasn't a real person.
Bring on the "Nuh uh!! I would've known!!!" comments...
It's not too creepy just reading about it and looking the pics though. I'm sure seeing it irl would've been much freakier.

It looked real to me, but I don't have a keen eye for detail...
I'm not at all frightened by this. I think the fear of Asimov's I, Robot scenario is unlikely and even blowing way out of proportion, just like with the thought of dinosaurs being brought back to life and the citing of a Jurassic Park scenario, but that development and improvement of androids, I suppose, will progress, hampered significantly and even stopped at times, of course.

the machines took over because sky-net gained sentience, sky-net proceeded to create a massive army of machines (before going Rebel) and then took over.
this was prevented (Terminator)
then, i forget what the second film is about...
oh yeah, the other dude managed to find a piece of the Teminator unit from the first film and back-engineered it to created the humanoid terminators.
he was summarly killed and so could bring about judgment day (yayeth!)
again, no humainoid Terminators (Terminator 2: judgement day)
unfortuenty, unbeknowsnt to Sarah connor (well, apparently not given all those guns she has in her coffin) Skynet was rebuilt in a top secret lab (isnt it always?)
probably in the cheyyenne mountain complex, cant remember just everything is.
anyway, skynet achieves sentience, and other Terminator units are produced (the T-1000 comes later as an assassin drone, and for instilling fear into the rebels) Skynet goes nuts, spreads a virus (computer) and then takes over when she is given command.
proceeds to cause a nuclear war, all-but wiping mankind out.
Judgement day occurs, mankind bites it.
Terminator 3: somthing or another.
nothing to do with human-esque androids as you see.

I thought it looked pretty likelife to me. However, the scary part is supposed to be how lifelike it acts not looks.
