Typing Style

I use a mixture of touch-typing and hunting and pecking. I don't actually look at the keyboard, though. I developed my own method for typing when I started using mIRC in the 4th grade. It evolved into something strange and my 6th grade touch-typing teacher hated that I could type more quickly than she could without my fingers hovering over the "home keys".

i'm sort of in the middle. I usually sort of touch type while looking at the keys. I know where they are, but I'll usually mess up if I'm not looking. Don't know what my speed is. Probably pretty quickly if I don't bother to fix my mistakes, but then it'd look pretty bad.

I don't look at the keys at all, I look at the screen - even if I make a mistake, heh. If I'm typing something up though obviously I look at the writing I'm copying rather than the screen x)

I always thought to be a touch typist though you had to use the right fingers on the right keys? There is an actual technique which I don't have, I'm just bloomin' fast

i "hen peck" as my computer teacher used to call it.

i don't have to look at the keys so much, since i've been doing it so long, but i only use about 3-4 fingers total to type.

i keep wanting to touch type, and never getting around to making it a proper habit.
