Damn it, does this mean I have to be a boy?

Nope. Just a girl without piercings

Tattoos on women can be hot when they're put in the right area, I won't mention those areas though. However, when you get old you'll probably wish you never got it.
I'm kind of down on [teenage] tattooing just to be different because odds say you're not going to be an angsty teen forever and when you eventually become a parent / adult you might just regret that entire phase and the tattoos that came along with it.
Which is why careful consideration should be used, or use expensive cover up makeup or laser removal which cannot get all the pigment out . I get my barcode tattoed on Tuesday It's on my upper wrist which is still hideable with a bracellet or bandaids. And I've been thinking about it for months, I do think this will be my last tattoo, if not then one more on my back.
However you wouldn't believe how many people come into my stores with tattoo's made from home made guns saying aweful stuff on their hands and arms, and old men and stuff with swears and love hate on their fingers. Not something I'd want my grandkids to see when I hold them. I did see something cool though it wasn't a tattoo but a guy shaved the hair on his fingers to make out letters.

Oi! Don't give all these people the wrong idea. I knew a girl who made Sam the Chinese Crested look good but because people kept saying "tight clothes on a girl are hot" and "revealing clothes attract guys" everyone was subject to having to look at a female version of Mario showing herself off. Navel piercings don't work for everyone, especially if the person is over wieght.

I'm fine with other people getting tattoos and piercings, but I would never get any body mods or tats. There WILL come a time I'd regret it, and I'd hate to be a 35 year old mother with stretch lines from being pregnant and some wonked-out tattoo on my hip. I'd look ridiculous.

I currently have 7 holes in my ears (4 of which are gauged...but not too much as I have to put normal earrings in for competitions)
I used to have 2 eye brow piercings, but it's a long story about how they had to be taken out. (And I do miss them)
I'm going to get a nice ring in my right nostril soon. (hopefully as i need to finish piercing my ears.)
As for tattoo's, I currently have 1 so far.
My prediciment is, buy a house or get another tattoo...I think house wins.

I wouldn't mind a tattoo on my arm one day if I ever start going to the gym regularly.. But yeah it looks cool!

I don't really find appeal in piercings other than the ears and I'd never get a piercing myself. I don't really have a use for any/
Tattoos I'd probably skip too, I know I'd end up hating it later on. Tastes change, and unless you have the money to cough up to get it removed, it's going to best friends with you for a while.
Henna... too much of a hassle for me.

I like tatoos and piercings to an extent unfortunatly their is the part of the populace that thinks the more the better...as for me no tats but I have had both my right eyebrow and belly button done...I miss both and have thought I may go ahead and have them redone now that my boys are a little older

No more ridiculus than a suburban white guy with a tribal armband, though.

I don't think race should have anything to do with this subject.

Wow, long time since I visited my own topic, lol.
A lot of people all have thier own opinions on tattoos and piercings.
When it comes to piercings...on chicks...I'm not big on chicks having eyebrow piercings, looks weird to me. And if they are over weight, naval piercings are not cool, they look very....ew.
Another piercing that I don't like, period, is the medusa, or the monroe (sp?), I'm not a big fan on upper lip piercings, especially if they get a long bar and it sticks out from their lip.
Even though my labret is a long bar, I needed it because the short bar wasn't comfortable with me, at all.
Out of 12 piercings, my lip and tongue are my favorite. But, hopefuly, sooner or later I will be getting my nose done.
For guys, I think having a hoop through their nose (wether it be on the side, or in the middle) is hot. Same with piercings in their ears are ok.
Tattoos, tattoos are nice if they are in certain spots, and suit the person. I'm not big on people having huge swasticas, or stupid crap on their chest, or forearms. I'm not even big on chicks having really ugly tattoos that don't suit them.
One of these days, when I get myself a digi camera, I'll have to take pictures of my tattoos for y'all.
Although, 4 out of 6 tattoos were done by homemade tattoo guns. No, no pain either. 2 my boyfriend did, the other 2 were done by my cousins tattooing buddy.

To me, the best kind of tattoos are those that say something. Whether secretive or exposed to the world, there's nothing more honorable to me then having a tribute on someone's skin. Memorial, celebration, anything that has meaning. Even if it's just a simple word that might
mean something to you.
Although I'm two years underage from getting one, tattoos are very intriguing. It's a shame though. I don't think I'll ever be able, if I wanted, to decide on something that'd be with me forever.
As far as piercings go, I had my cartilage pierced on the very top of my ear some time ago. Unfortunately when I went to change the earring I couldn't find the hole again for nothing, and the next day after giving up there was a scab behind my ear. <_<
I left that thing in for a year, too. T_T Sigh. I heal too slow. Or maybe it's too fast?.
Same thing with my regular lobe piercings, too. But I just keep repuncturing them with my insulin needles.

I have a couple piercings in my ear, and I used to have one on my nose, but it had gotten infected pretty bad, so after 2 years I took it out, and I still have a nasty scar. I don't really regret getting it done, but the scar is a pain.
As for tattoos, I'd like to get one done, but i'm waiting for something thats meaningfull enough for me.
A friend of mine wanted to get a tattoo for a long time but didn't know what to get. Then his dad died. So he got his dads name tattooed on his arm. Nice, but I probably wouldn't do it.

I was once in class with a girl who had a nose piercing... It was very interesting on 2 occasions.
Once she sniffed her nose too hard and the inside part came loose and went up her nose, she had to go to the nurse and didn't some back the rest of the day.
Another time she was blowing her nose and it shot out in the floor with a little stream of snot.
