I love Green pens for my personal writing. (Letters, journals, etc.)
For academic stuff, I use blue pen. It's neater than pencil, less bland than black pen, and looks professional.

Black pens pwnnnnnnn.
I've been using fountain pens for about five years now and for the past three years I've been buying black instead of blue ink.
Also black ball points make up the majority of my pen collection.

I'm not very picky about what type of pen I use, but it has to be black. Sometimes I can deal with a green pen, but rarely. Blue pens ...I get this little scratchy feeling at the back of my neck, and I have to wince. For me, there is just something horribly wrong with blue pens.

I use a mechanical pencil most of the time, but I usually find the lead isn't thin enough for me. I want the lead to be thinner.
The thing is less than a millimetre in width, and I want it thinner.

Either a pencil or a gel pen. I hate pacers, I always snap the lead from pushing too hard...

I pretty much use anything, but I have this one pen I used to write a lot of my novel. I call it "The Pen of Destiny" (reference to Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny). It's one of those simple Bic Sticks that are black and white. But what makes it so special is I've gnawed the crap outta it. XD

What made it better was I losted it, and I vowed that I wouldn't write any story on paper until I found it. The couch ated it.
