Not everyone on anti-depressants is a dangerous person. I was on anti-depressants for much of my teen years. I was the same person I'd always been. The need for certain medications doesn't make someone a loose cannon that needs to be monitored for safety reasons. In fact, being on proper medications can help someone to never develop into that sort of person.

Agreed. I was on anti-depressants for a couple of years, and the only side effect I had was insomnia.

Still, these school shootings are frightening. That boy who threatened to start a school shooting last week is back in school now. I'm frightened, why on earth would our school let him back in? He was only suspended for three days.

Would you mind explaining why your principal is being fired?

The school board doesn't like him because 'they don't meet his expectations'. Basically, the kids and parents love him, so he can't be doing a good job.

That's what I've been able to gather so far, anyway...the superintendent won't really say why they're firing him...

That's sad..... I hope it doesn't happen to my guidance counselor. He is actually interested in getting kids the classes they want, and he's probably the best thing that's happened to my school.

And the boy who made the threat might end up being too afraid of repercussions to actually do anything. I hope so.

That is pretty scary...I'd also stay home...and if your mom makes you go to school, stay outside and skip classes...it's for YOUR safety afterall.
