Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

To be honest, I don't really know. I have my own ideas about who and what God is, and go by those. Some are similar to beliefs of established religions, but most are my own skewed interpretations of things. I kinda just go by what feels right. *shrugs*

Roman Catholic. Although as soon as I can I'm becoming an atheist.

I am what you call a Mormon and I will counter this poll's options by reporting that the LDS church is not that alike to the Jehovah's Witnesses and that we are completely Christian. I mean no offense, just clearing something up.

Atheist. Though I really don't count that as a religion. Becuase it'd make me religious, which I'm not.
Edited by Igg because it was obnoxiously insulting.

I didn't know you had to apparently convert to become atheist.
I thought if you didn't believe in God, you were an automatically an atheist.

A lot of people think that being an Atheist is not believing in God. Not true. It's not believing in anything. People usually believe in religion, science or a combo of both. If you don't believe either, that's atheism.

Ah, I see. But if you don't believe in either, aren't you automatically an Atheist? You don't need to wait for some sort of conversion right?

Atheism is simply and solely a disbelief or absense of belief
in God. Not believing in anything is called nihilism.
The Webster's New World College Dictionary (Macmillan 1996) defines atheism as "the belief that there is no God or a denial that God or gods exist." [1] In contrast it gives agnosticism as the belief "that the human mind cannot know whether there is a God or an ultimate cause." [2]
This indeed is how many non atheists understand the terms. Unfortunately, the definition of atheism given in Webster’s, and in most dictionaries, is incorrect. Most atheists do not define atheism that way. A proper understanding of the etymology of the word provides the actual meaning. As Michael Martin, Professor of Philosophy at Boston University explains:
In Greek "a" means "without" or "not" and "theos" means "god". From this standpoint an atheist would simply be someone without a belief in God, not necessarily someone who believes that God does not exist. According to its Greek roots, then atheism is a negative view, characterized by the absence of a belief in God. [3]

No, you do not.

Science isn't a religion. Atheism is just not believing there is a god (and someone else already summed that bit up).
I'm an atheist.

Atheist. I've still to work out how to get my name deleted from the church's registry... it's on my to-do list when I get of age.

I'm a roman catholic, baptised and confirmed. There will always be a few aspects where I differ from the church, but in the areas that truly matter, my foundation and beleifs are fairly strong.

I'm a die-hard, born again Christian. :)
