Heh, I'm so jealous Requiem and Ginger! Cool gifts.

I got three shirts (Tommy Hillfiger! In fact, our whole Christmas clothing wise was Tommy Hillfiger, it's like we were sponsored or something by him) and a DIVX DVD player (A gift for my whole family). I asked for clothes so I'm not going to complain, plus now I have something new to wear for school.

And we really needed a DVD player (Our old ones were horrible) so this is a life saver.

I doubt Nick is joking - I think he turns his head to his left, gazes at his Dr. Cox shrine, takes a deep breath and lets his fingers do the talking.

I got an awesome t-shirt that says "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate." It makes me very, very happy.
I also got a book with a ton of cute pictures of cats sleeping.
And a camel bak and ski backpack. Which hopefully means I'll get to go on a ski trip sometime this year.
Along with my 3 brothers, I got a bunch of sheet music and 10 dvds of animaniacs(<3)

I also got a cd, a charm bracelet, a bag(and money), a wooden cat, and a jeopardy day-by-day calendar.

And chocolate. mmm.

And my kitten got a catnip mouse and then proceded to go crazy(er than usual). She is adorable. And psycho.

For Christmas today, I recieved a Betty Crocker Cookbook, Starbucks cups set, an old school version of Monopoly (I'm starting a collection <3), pajamas, a brown purse, dishes, glasses, Christmas socks, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, tacky journal, homemade date jar, Happy Feet Calendar, and I have a U2 special edition iPod on the way from my wonderful fiance!

Happy day!

Everything I got pales in comparison to my brand new shiny Deep Space 9 Complete Seasons 1-7. Im still not sure why theres a giant number 4 on the DS9 box lid, but Im not complaining <3

I will complain about the cold that decided to take over my body yesterday, and made me feel like crap today. I couldnt taste Christmas dinner, felt too sick to visit family, and spent the whole day sleeping. What a waste.

*gasp* You got a shirt from Toothpaste for Dinner! I love those things! :D

I got plenty of good stuff this year, but I won't got into listing it all. Highlights included a totally unexpected iPod Shuffle (2nd gen) and a North Face fleece. My mom got me a bunch of plates/bowls/cups and baking supplies (muffin tins, cooling racks, cake pans, etc.) to prepare me for when I get an apartment after my graduation in May.

I had more fun giving gifts to my family! I got my brother this really cool Jeff Gordon plastic sign that he put up on his wall right away. I got my mom a giant thing of bath stuff, so she can relax when she gets home from working as an EMT. My stepdad got a Franklin Mint Firefighter's knife because...he's a volunteer firefighter, lol. My dad got a Hickory Farms thingy. Lastly my (6 year old) puppy got a gigantic rawhide bone.

I seriously get way more joy out of giving people things <3

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Calm down - it's the way of his sarcasm. The av should give it away ;)

I did alright with my presents - got some money and vouchers, as well as a lot of things for when I move next year for uni :)

Copied right from my lj (with a tiny bit of editing required)...

The complete(ish) materialistic list of Christmas!

From Mom & Stu:
-QI DVD
-This amazingly cute stuffed penguin
-A little book called "The Penguin of Death". Seriously. It wins.
-Signed copy of Fragile Things <3
-£10 credit for my phone
-Assorted chocolatey things
-Eeyore nightshirt
-2 Eeyore mugs
-Light up spinny penguin thing for my phone (yea, so none of you know what I'm on about, who cares)
-Dalek keychain
-Darwin Awards book
-Mood beams thingy

Hmm. Is that it? Might be.

From grandparents:
-Snoopy hoodie - Snoopy dressed up kinda teacher-y, says "I love nerds" underneath. So soft. <3
-That 20Q "I read your mind" game thing
-Some book How to Walk in High Heels or something like that...life advice stuff

From Aunt Beth:
-Really nice purpley sweater
-Odd phone bean bag thing

From Stu's parents:
-£35
-Chocolate
-Blank CDs

From other assorted relatives of Stu's:
-More chocolate
-Eeyore slipper socks
-Horrible magnolia scented bath stuff. Seriously. Magnolia. Don't want to smell like an old lady, thanks...
-A rather nice star necklace
-A black zip up jackety thing...not bad, will probably wear it for school
-£15 high street vouchers. Can use 'em at New Look, that's all I know and all that will probably matter

(Stu would be my stepdad, by the way. =P)

well...thanks for clearing it up. I think it's not a good idea to assume anything based on someone's avatar or signature. It most certainly was not obvious, at least not to me. I think I had every right to react to those comments the way I did. I'm not trying to be controversial, but a lot of people say those things seriously. I am very calm now, btw, but I just wanted to let you know all that.

On a better note, I made Christmas dinner yesterday and it was wonderful. I can't believe how well it went. For Thanksgiving, I cooked with my fiance's mom, but yesterday I was on my own. It was a lot of work. I was standing for 6 hours making everything and it was very worth it. It was nice to have everyone sitting at the table. It's one of the reasons that Christmas is my favorite time of year. If there's anything most people can agree on, it's that family holds great value during this time of year. It's unfortunate that this attitude isn't held throughout the year.

Don't worry, my jewish heritage has helped me to understand and appreciate the opinions of other people. EDIT: But I must say, for someone who is 22, I personally think you should have known. I'll let you off though.

And its really ok, its not that difficult to convince people who don't know you that you think something controversial.

Keep your eyes peeled, I'm bound to do it again! When's the next religious festival, anybody?

Can't wait for Valentine's Day Nicky-poo. <3

Anyway, I've had an uber-cool leather jacket so I'm prancing around the house attempting to look well 'ard. But sadly, one cannot look 'ard whilst prancing.
