My town (Errmm.. is it even a town?) is just barely on the maps. Probably because of the army depot. Once that is gone, this will be a ghost town. I bet you a million Neopoints it will...

My town was the end of the cattle dirve trails, Texas Trail, whatever. Now we claim to be the Cowboy Capitol. We also have Boot Hill.

There ya go.

I live in Pittsburgh.

Don't forget the 3 Rivers, George Washington running away from the Battle for Fort Duquesne and then marching back triumphally to build Fort Pitt, many, many colleges/universities (CMU, Pitt, Duquesne, etc.), two brand new, beautiful sports stadiums that the teams didn't necessarily deserve, horrible roadway construction, beautiful bridges that are the most plentiful in the world, great health care and dinosaurs (our collection is one of the best in the world)

D.C is pretty, not sure if I'd like to live there though. I did want to live there at one point, sort of leaning towards not wanting to be closer than I already am now.

The ordinance survey people..?

It's cool, if someone found out a criminal was hiding here they'd get like a 3 year headstart on the police.

Michael Phelps and Katie Hoff. :D

Oh, and our huge port, our state surrounding most of the Chesapeake Bay (largest bay in the world), our crabs, our oysters, our boats (we made many of the ships used during the Revolutionary War, and our state's high level of violence. Plus, we were a border state during the civil war. And the guy who wrote the national anthem wrote it on a ship in Baltimore's port, during the Revolutionary War. And the original copy (or a very, very, very old duplicate. I'm not sure) of the anthem is on display in a museum downtown. And quite a few important battles during that war were fought in Maryland. And then there was Harriet Tubman, and that Frederick Douglas guy. Oooh, and our state's first lady dissed Britney Spears a few months ago! And then Spear Britney issued a public statement about it, insulting her back. :D

Rich in history and great seafood, Maryland/Baltimore rocks. Even if it's a bit boring at the moment. (Well, aside from Katie Hoff and Phelps, obviously. Go North Baltimore Aquatic Center and the swimmers there!)

ETA: Forgot something.

GO RAVENS! (Superbowl Champions.)

GO TERPS! (Former NCAA Champions.)

GO ORIOLES EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE BEEN REALLY BAD LATELY!

And we have these colleges, here in/around Baltimore: University of Maryland, Loyola, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins, Johns Hopkins Medical School.

And, duh, we have the Johns Hopkins hospital.

Oh, and Cal Ripken. Can't forget about him. Though I think I spelled his name wrong. Darnit.

ETA: Jada Pinkett Smith grew up and went to school here at BSA, Baltimore School for the Arts (it's a high school- I plan on going there). And then became Will Smith's wife, and a famous, very good, actress.
