Maxis released it ages ago, but I got it more recently than any other game I'm playing. Between unintentionally setting fires, driving my Sims off the psychological deep end, and teaching them to stay in their own portion of an apartment building, I'm hopelessly hooked.

A new feature is genetics, and along with it comes actual family. I have had much pleasure re-enacting my life with four siblings, one of which is still rolling well away from the tree in real life and in the game.

You think it gets buggy when you run another program... some people wind up with half a dozen kids at once on that game. Imagine caring for six babies on that game. I actually dowloaded a scenario some one made of just that. A good thing it never happened to me in real life. I would make a very bad parent if this game reflects my own reaction to six tiny mouths. Passing out on the floor every night... dancing with the mop when I actually run out of things to do... wanting more kids?! :o

I've heard all sorts of rumors, some of which are probably from the type of people I would like to see hanging from a chandelier and begging for help getting down in exchange for remembering where their brain is and remembering to use it.

All I can say is that I know that our little simulated pests will go to college. I hope... hope, not know, that we will be able to have them intract there in many types of environments that simulate a realistic college, including being rejected for a scholarship.

It should be out in the beginning of March. Hey, that's a little over a month! :)

Really? An add on for the Sims 2? My Sims 1 recently shook its angry fist at me and wouldn't work. So I uninstalled it, sold all my expansion packs and deleted all of my lovely anime skins. *sniffle* But now I'm saving up for the Sims 2. Yeeeah. It sounds interesting enough. And for a simulation game addict like me, it's worth forking out some cash.

For some reason everytime I went to type "Sims" it came out Times at first. That's odd. I'm tired, could by why. :P

I love the sims2, it's great. :) Although, I was hoping they'd slow down the clock a little. I mean, who pees for 20 minutes? And changing diapers doesn't take 20 minutes either. *shakes head* It's much more realistic, but I was hoping they'd make the time factor a little better.

Time factor works when you arne't on speed 3 :)

And I don't want Uni, i want Pets! Its empty without pets! I'm a long time sim fan and i loved sims unleashed and the pets just... made it more kewl! (plus, stuff to do when my sim was at work) I eventually quit my job because my pets sold for like 8 grand each time they had kittens!

Edit: Oh, and my own car :@

Oooh yea it'd be cool if you actually went ot work with your sims :D And we soooo need more career paths and options (maybe 5 different top of careers so depending on choices you make, speed of promotion and other skills you get different things :))

I got to the top of the business tycoon career on my guy (Angus McCloud -he likes clouds) I get a helicopter each morning!

I've always wanted them to do that! And it has enough potentional, but my friend doesn't think it's possible. She got all super technical on me, but I still think they could do it.
I'm really looking foward to this college expansion pack. Speaking of jobs, I need one of my own if I'm going to get the money to buy it! XO
