looks like the guy got his wires crossed somewhere though, ents for isengard?

its in Alpha testing right now, with pictures here.

so? looks simply amazing to me, doubt my computer will handle it mind :cries: prehaps my brothers will.

missions will be over two campaigns (saruamans attack on rohan then morodrs attack on gondor in one, and rohans defence and gondors defence in the other) with the tutorial starting in moria.

each army has their own way of creating units;

gondor;resource gathering coming from farms (and the civiliens can be conscripted later on..) and reinforcements to get new units.

Rohan; gain resources from rescuing civilians, unit production unknown.

isengard; ???

morodor; create various buildings (camps etc) then receive reinforcements throughout the game, by sacrificing on or more groups of reinforcements you can get bigger and better units (wargs, trolls, MUMAK etc)

Its being produced by the former Westwood so it should be half-decent. For it to be good they need live acting cameos inbetween mission...

You are right...Isenguard doesnt use ents, it gets smashed by ents.

why does it need live acting?
its all about the masses, the nameless ones who give there lives in defence (or to destroy..) mankind (ergo; no heroes for me)
oh and westwood made generals remember.

No, EA made Generals. They employed some of the same people from Westwood as Westwood doesnt actually exist now.

Live acting is cool and adds to the plot.

generals was made in the las vegas EA studio, which if you didnt know was once westwood.
and no most of the peeps who made C&C went AWOL after being bought out, and now reside at various other game companies (a few in blizzard i hear)

edit: as for the "this should be in the LOTR forum" bit, thats because i was being lazy and copied and pasted it from my post in portent, who actually have a LOTR forum.
