Hey. Just a quick topic to show you the new look of the DS.
New
Old
I personally liked the old one.

Personally I think the new one looks better, the old looks like it might be mistaken for a bath toy...

I personally like the new one better
But since Nintendo made both and I'm a Nintendo fanboy, I have to like everything Nintendo releases =D

I think the new one looks cool and the old one looks bulky for some reason.

I like the new one, its a bit more sleek and all...the old one reminded me of a oddly shaped palm pilot.

I think it looks really cool. I will get it no matter what but I still think it looks a little BIG

Maybe the picture it misleading, but it sure looks like they made the DS look more like the PSP, because the new version "looks" larger (including the screen). But other than that, they changed a few very small details, color, and a few button placements. Not really an opinion altering change, but I do think the new version looks much better than the other. I don't know much about the design of the new version, but please tell me that that little notch in the bottom isn't where the games go in... because all we need is the cartridges going in upside down...

I prefer the new one, sort of. The buttons are indeed better and in a better location, it's alot larger now. It's limiting the portability. Other than that, let it come in many cool colors.

The front bit is for GBA games to go into. The DS games will come on a little card similar to the small Panasonic SD (and Nokia N-Gage) memory cards and they will slot into the back of the machine.

I like the new DS, it does look a little bulky though

WAIT A MINUTE. I just figured out something (not a BIG deal). If the GBA games slot is that big then the DS itself can't be too big. I mean LOOK at it!

yeah yeah. Well any way, I did find out today that the screens are each 3 inches long and tall. I checked my GBA and the screens are just under 3 in. I also so a movie from E3 today and they showed the DS. The size is FINE. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT!

I wasn't worried about the size at all. What concerns me is connectivity. To other DS's and the GC. What does anyone think will happen?

DS connection is ensured (remember Super Mario 64x4?)
But im pretty sure gameboy connection will be there, at least for gameboy games.
