In weapon master mode, I can't get to this one place near the end! I'm using Talim, does that have any relevancy?

I have no idea which place you're talking about. Which person you use doesn't matter, it is possible to do all with any person (except certin ones, but it makes you be the character for those, there is no was around it)
My advice would to be to go to
http://www.gamefaqs.com/ and look through the guides for help.

FYI, Its in the land right before the final boss. Its in the south, and I can't access it.
