Maple Story is a 2D 'MMORPG'.
This game is almost, like R.O.S.E. Except for the 2D thing, the company, the classes, the enviroment, the items, and monsters.
The website is
http://www.mapleglobal.com .
You make the account on the site, then you download the game.
There are 40 channels in total. 20 in each world.
The worlds are the same except that 'Scania' has far to many people and the community isn't that nice >_>. 'Bera' on the other hand has few people and most of them are great.
I'd advise everyone making an account to choose Bera as their world, because for the next few days every monster drops double their money, and monsters have 2 times as much of a chance to drop rare items.
If you choose 'Bera' as your world, you're character can only play in 'Bera'. You'd have to make a new character to play in 'Scania'.
Everyone starts out as a beginner and then slowly moves their way up.
Once you hit level 8 you can become a magician. After you became a magician many more classes will become available once you level up more.
When you'relevel 10 you can become a theif, warrior, or bowman. as I said with the magician "More classes will become available once you level up more."
When you become a class of your choice you will get a skill book with many skills in it to master and level. *cough R.O.S.E cough*
I started out as a bowman, and it's been pretty fun so far. I've meet many friends and gone on many quests with people and had a great time.
If any wants to add me to their friend list, my in game name is : KhrisW.
Also a quick overview of the classes would be:
Magician - Ownage. >_>
Thief - Awesome avoidabiltiy and attack power. Equipment is quite pricey.
Bowman - Good avoidability, awesome range, minimal health loss because you can fire from places enemies can't reach you. Pretty good attack power, but not much MP.
Warrior - Lot's of health, lot's of strength, minimal MP.
BTW, Party with someone when ever you can. This is the greatest way to A- Make more money
B- Make more exp
C- Make more friends
So in conclusion, typo season is upon us, and this is a fun game.
